List of Omaha Area Linux Companies
This is a list which started out as a thread in the Omaha Linux User Group mailing list. The question was asked: which businesses in Omaha are Linux-friendly?
A number of OLUG members volunteered information, and soon there was a list. It needed to be parked somewhere, so here it is.
A list of corporate Linux users is a nice tool for advocacy especially when you don't have a Microsoft-sized budget and proves that Linux can be not just a fun hobby but is also serious business.
Besides, Omaha is a Linux town. It really is. In various ways, our hospitals, call centers, businesses, stores, networks and phone systems are run on it. The local pool of Linux talent is part of what makes Omaha such a great place to be.
If you know of an organization that should be added to or removed from this list, just fill in the form at the bottom of this page or email this guy. Corrections also are gratefully accepted.
